Apotheosis Comics in St. Louis is one of the thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating the largest event in the comic book industry on Saturday, May 6: Free Comic Book Day (FCBD)! Each year, thousands of participating stores give away comic books to millions of fans to introduce them to the genre of comics.
“The event of Free Comic Book Day is an amazing opportunity for the entire community to come together and enjoy. This is the 6th year Apotheosis Comics will celebrate FCBD, offering the community a fun, family-oriented event where everyone can find a comic they’ll enjoy. However, comic shops all over the region are celebrating Free Comic Book Day; from Altered States, Comics Headquarters, Cosmic Comics, New Castle Comics, Just Heroes and Comic Book Relief, along with Fantasy Shop. Free Comic Book Day kicks off at 10am and runs until 6pm at Apotheosis Comics at 3206 S. Grand, St. Louis, MO, 63118. The Cherokee Street location at 3359 S. Jefferson will not be celebrating Free Comic Book Day because they will be participating in Cherokee Streets Cinco De Mayo Celebration.
