Have you ever wanted to create comics? In this five-week course, you will learn how to design an original comic character - then write, draw, letter, ink, and color your very own comic book! Explore the creative process from start to finish as you bring your creations to life in this cartooning class taught by comic book artist and illustrator, Patrick Tuller.

Course description:
Students will learn the fundamentals of comic books and cartooning by studying form, perspective, figure drawing, foreshortening, and composition. They will use these skills to create a comic character and design a comic book cover and pages for their own comic book.
Ages: 8 - 12
Course fee: $75 for all five weeks or $20 per session
Materials fee: $12 (includes comic art boards, pencil/eraser, technical pen set, watercolor pencil set)
Instructor info: 
Patrick Tuller is an illustrator and comic book artist/inker. His primary comic book inking experience includes Big Bang Comics for Image, David Hahn’s Serena published by Antarctic Press, and work for various small press publishers. He is currently accepting commissions for sketch covers, illustration work, inking, cover recreations and other various projects.
