When we heard one of our customers, Nick Coffman, wrote a script for a show we knew we had to host a table read for him! So we put together a group of local D&D enthusiasts and actors and scheduled our first table read!
Read by members of local Dungeons & Dragons groups and St. Louis improvisers. In the fantasy nation of Tomoburg, commonfolk escape the hardships of war, dragons, and everyday life with an ale at the best damn hole-in-the-wall pub, Bastards’ Keep. Run by bastards for bastards.

Nick Coffman, born in St. Louis, grew up immersed in football. Like many from the heart of the Midwest, he aspired to a professional football career. His journey took him to a Division One college team until two knee injuries forced him off the field, reshaping his identity. Remarkably, his considerable head remained unscathed.Now, Nick channels his experiences into writing half-hour comedy scripts with stubborn characters struggling to break free from difficult situations. Trained in sketch and improv at Second City Chicago and educated through Roadmap Writers, he transitioned to TV writing. Nick is currently dedicated to honing his craft on fresh scripts. His pilot "The Death of Blockbuster Video" reached the Second Round at the 2022 Austin Film Festival.
