We need to drop a note to alert you on a new policy. For some of you this won't affect you, for others it will (sorry). If your pull starts to build up and we don't hear from you in FOUR WEEKS we will need to close your account and cancel your subscriptions.
It's just a necessary step, given the pandemic, and we can't take on costs we can't immediately recoup. Once you are paid up, we will be able to reinstate your pull starting at the following FOC (weekly Final Order Cutoff). Over the last couple of months we have purchased thousands of dollars of comics comics ordered through pulls and have never paid for or picked up, that's why we had to institute the Pre-Pay system. We can send you an invoice for your outstanding pull, to catch you up, and you can come pick them up whenever is most convenient.
To give you an idea of what we're facing here's a snapshot of what we're looking at for the first week of March alone:
When you pay for your books - we can add more hours to the shop, pay our employees more, buy more cool stuff, and get you the things you want.
So, please - if you have a pull - please, please, please pay for your books. If you don't want them we can donate them to a little library, we're really good at that.
The good news is it's easy to help! Here's how:
- Log into your account and sign up for pre-authorized payment.
- Swing by the shop this week to get your books and get 15% off.
- Update the books you want to order and make sure your up to date on your pull list.
We can send you an invoice for your outstanding pull, to catch you up, and you can come pick them up whenever is most convenient. We're not mad - we just need your help right now.
